What we mark
Fiber lasers excel on metals. Plastics are qualified case-by-case.
Stainless steel
Stainless steel is a fiber laser staple. Annealing can produce dark oxide marks with little material removal; etching and engraving add tactile depth when required.
Aluminium
Bare and anodised aluminium mark well with fiber. Anodised surfaces often yield bright, crisp ablation marks; bare aluminium needs process tuning for contrast.
Brass & copper
Brass and copper are reflective and conductive; fiber lasers still mark them well with the right parameters. Popular for nameplates, hardware, and decorative branding.
Titanium
Titanium accepts strong annealed and engraved marks. Used in aerospace-adjacent and high-value tooling where identifiers must last.
Engineered plastics
Some opaque, filled plastics mark with fiber lasers; clear and additive-free polymers often do not. We qualify materials with samples before production runs.
